Everything you need to know about billing.
How is overage metered and billed?
Overage calls are metered automatically using an idempotency key recorded at request completion. Any billable 200 OK calls above your monthly plan allowance will appear as an itemized line item on your monthly Stripe invoice.
Are failed requests or empty responses billed?
No. If inference fails due to an upstream service error (500) or if no conclusive intelligence is generated (204 No Content), the call is metered as non-billable and will never consume your allowance.
Can I upgrade or downgrade midway through a cycle?
Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately with prorated usage calculations through Stripe. Downgrades take effect at the conclusion of your current billing period.
What happens if I exhaust my rate limit or quota?
If your account exceeds Cloud Armor volumetric thresholds, requests return HTTP 429 Too Many Requests. If your monthly account cap is reached without an overage agreement, further requests are held until the next billing window.
